(8)06. Accident Reporting Injury or Death

The driver of a motor vehicle who is in any manner involved in an accident originating from the operation of the motor vehicle that has resulted in bodily injury, or in the death of any person shall report the accident to the law enforcement as soon as possible.

Violations of Penal Code (8)06 is a felony punishable by 120 seconds imprisonment and a fine of $10,000.
