(8)24. Public Endangerment

Any person who, under circumstances or conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully cause or permits any person to suffer, or inflicts there on unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering.

Violations of Penal Code (8)24 is a misdemeanor punishable by 30 seconds and or a fine of $750.
