(4)08. Escape

Any person arrested, booked, charged, or convicted of any crimes who thereafter escapes from a county or city jail, prison, community service, or custody of a Correctional or Parole Officer is guilty under this code section.

Violations of Penal Code (4)08 is a felony punishable by 120 seconds imprisonment and a $10,000 fine in addition to any other charges on an individual who commits an escape.
